Dani & Dan'Quell Gives Back at Tufts China Care "LUX" Fashion Fundraiser

South End-based designer Dani & Dan’quell (D&D) and more than 1,000 attendees watched her unique brand parade the runway at the 2014 Tufts University Annual LUX Charity Fashion Show on April 4 at Tufts University Cohen Auditorium in Medford.

D&D’s casual apparel celebrates unity among races and sexual orientations.  Its philanthropic collection, United Senergy (US), donates a portion of proceeds to community non-profits.

The “LUX” fashion show, organized by Tufts China Care, an independent, student-run club at Tufts University, raises funds to benefit China Care Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing nurture and support for orphans in China. The event has raised funds to provide surgery for children with severe birth defects such as cleft palate, cataracts, spina bifida and more.

As a LUX sponsor, D&D provided apparel that was modeled in the show and also donated products for the raffle.
