D&D Team Profile

Here at Dani & Dan'quell (D&D) we stand by our motto "where individuality happens" meaning to celebrate individuality and inclusiveness that stretches across traditional culture, ethnicity, age, gender, and sexual orientation. Accepting and highlighting one's own individuality, what other way to get started than highlighting our own D&D team unique individual style.

As a graphic design/marketing intern at Dani & Danq’uell Designs, I feel that D&D’s mission is something that more people should strive for. The D&D brand represents expressing your individuality.  There is also a charity line of shirts called United Senergy (example shown below) that goes towards helping people with heart disease, childhood obesity and mental illness. Check it out: www.unitedsenergy.com

So, about me. My name is Megan Kowalchuk. I am currently 20 years old and live in Boston as I finish up earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Graphic Design in June. My style doesn’t necessarily fall into one category, which is why I think I enjoy the D&D brand so much. You don’t have to fall into a specific category to wear the designs, you just have to express yourself while you’re wearing them.  It doesn’t matter who you are, where you’re from or how you enjoy to express yourself. D&D helps people showcase their style and their interests in whatever way they feel they want to, and that’s usually what I do. My style generally consists of:

Plaid, I have an addiction to plaid shirts. It’s kind of a problem. It’s probably the country girl in me that enjoys it. However, what I love about plaid is that you can wear it however you want and be as casual or as dressy as you like. I’m the kind of girl who will mostly wear a plaid shirt and jeans, or maybe with leggings if it is long enough. Half of my closet is plaid shirts and I literally have to hold myself back from buying them whenever I see them. Like I said, it’s kind of a problem.

Even though I’m a more casual girl, I have my days where I love wearing a nice casual dress with some tall brown boots, possibly cowgirl boots (yes, I do own a pair. I have no shame!)

And finally, of course, yoga pants. I will literally wear yoga pants any chance I get and I love them. I mix them with all sorts of different shirts and make the outfit my own, cute yet comfy. They are a staple of my wardrobe, no question.

So now you know a little about me. But what D&D wants to know is a little about you. What’s your style? How do you express your individuality?
